Abstract

Management of supply and purchase of products on the back-of-office is an activity retained by retail companies. The warehouse and purchasing section approves the problem in the specified amount that must be provided and the number of purchases from the supplier. Fluctuations in sales volume that calculates the number of products that are difficult also which do not sell even do not need to be a problem in a specified amount. This problem can be solved by an automation system in estimating the amount of preparation and purchase from suppliers. In planning the purchase for the determination to be carried out can be forecasting the number of sales using a Weighted Moving Average and to help determine the safe limits to use using Reorder Point. The purpose of this study is to approve the model of estimating the number of sales and setting a safe boundary integrated in the software system model that functions as a preparation management application. Model analysis takes a case study on retail retailers of drugs. Applications in the Rational Unified Process and Unified Modeling Language for assessment of software system models with modeling diagrams.
